Assuming your boiler is in good working order a service can be inspected in less than an hour. Considering how quick the process can be, theres no excuse not to get it done - especially when it can save you time and the cost of buying a new boiler.

An annual boiler service costs around £75.00 (inc. Vat) per service.

A typical boiler service checklist will include: 1. Visual Inspection 2. Operation & Controls 3. Flue and combustion releases 4. Clean the main boiler components 5. Testing, Testing, Testing - Flame sense device and whether it operates correctly - Pilot burner and any cables and probes - High-limit therostat - Boiler operation - Ventilation - Flue effectiveness - Heating controls - Electrical wiring connections - Location of boiler and nearby combustible materials - Gas and pressure flow - Safety devices - Washers & seals Before your engineer leaves your property they will ensure that the boiler is in good working order. Any controls or settings that were altered during the testing process will be returned to your preference.
